Food: Easy Chocolate filled croissants

Easy Chocolate-filled Croissants

At my house, I try to stay away from premade/prepackaged food as often as I can. However, sometimes homemade isn't possible (or preferred). I'm terrible at making croissant dough so, every now and then, I buy the refrigerated premade dough. My youngest, B, loves chocolate filled croissants. Here is my simple way to prepare them.

Before preparing, be sure to set your oven to the recommended baking temperature that is listed on your dough package. Then, line a baking sheet with waxed paper.

Add chocolate morsels to your croissant triangles.

Fold your croissant dough over the morsels and shape
into your desired shape. Be sure to pinch your dough closed
along the seams - or else your chocolate will seep out during
the baking process.
Be sure to follow the baking directions listed on your dough package!

Once your croissants have finished baking, you can mix up your glaze
while they cooling.

To make your glaze, you will need to blend powdered sugar with milk.
I usually start with about 1 cup of powdered sugar and slowly
add the milk 1/2 tablespoon at a time.
Once you reach your desired thickness, drizzle the glaze over the
croissants with a spoon. Allow to set for a few moments before serving.
Enjoy!
